This article explains how to configure dashboards within Assure. It covers two distinct dashboard areas: the Homepage Dashboard (the user-specific landing screen on the Assure Homepage) and Module Dashboards (individual dashboard areas available within each Assure module, such as Incident, Risk Assessment, or Audit).
Users can configure Quick Add Record shortcuts (links that open a blank new record form directly), Shortcuts (links that navigate to a module list view), and My Tasks (a panel showing tasks assigned to the logged-in user). Additionally, users can add Data Charts (visual chart widgets) to both the Homepage Dashboard and Module Dashboards.
Dashboards are user-specific: each user configures their own dashboard independently, enabling them to surface data relevant to their role. A System Settings limit controls the maximum number of chart items a user can add per module dashboard. Filters used within dashboard charts must meet specific date criteria rules.
This article is scoped to the Assure main system and spans all modules that have an individual dashboard area. There are no AssureGO+ cross-module implications for this feature.
Overview
The Assure Homepage (the main landing screen after login) and each module within Assure have their own Dashboard (a configurable visual summary screen). Dashboards support:
- Quick Add Record links (a shortcut that takes the user directly to a blank new record form for the selected module)
- Shortcuts (a link that navigates the user directly to the module list view)
- My Tasks (displays tasks assigned to the logged-in user)
- Data Charts (chart widgets displaying statistical data at a glance)
Dashboards are personal to each user. One user can configure their dashboard completely differently from other system users, tailoring the view to the data most relevant to their role.

Section 5: System Settings - Dashboard Item Limit
In System Settings (navigated to via Settings > System Configuration > System Settings), there is a section that allows an administrator to limit the number of items (charts and widgets) users can add to their dashboard.
- The 'Manage System Settings' Supervisor Privilege is required to change this limit.
- No more than 15 items will be allowed for most modules.
- Evotix recommends setting a limit between 10 and 12.

- System Settings (cross-module implication): The dashboard item limit set in System Settings applies across all module dashboards globally. Only users with the 'Manage System Settings' Supervisor Privilege can adjust this limit.
