Linking Project Detail Records to Module Records and Vice Versa
When creating new Records within certain Modules, users can link Project Details records using the Project Reference field.
Modules that you can link Project Detail Records to are as follows:
- Assets - Equipment
- Audit - Procedural Audit
- Behaviour - Behavioural Safety Audit
- Contractor - Notification of Project
- Environment - Aspect Impact
- Environment - Environmental Assessment
- Incident - Incident Record
- Incident - Vehicle Incident
- People - Person Register
- Risk - Hazard Spotting
- Risk - Project Risk
The Project Reference field shouldn't be visible by default but can be added to the Modules listed via Caption Maintenance.
Caption Maintenance:
- Display Text
- Guidance Text
- Guidance Text Display (Pop up or Static)
- Is Mandatory
- Display On Interface
When you have added the Project Reference field to a Module click on the Cog, you are presented with the following options:
- Select
- Clear
- View
- Create
When clicking on the Select option you will see the following pop up page.
- Search option.
- Sort Columns: Reference, Location, Start Date Manager and Org Unit.
- Click on the Project Details record you wish to apply, this will populate the reference in the Project Reference field.
Users can also link records from the following Modules directly to a Project Details Record.
- Assets - Equipment
- Audit - Procedural Audit
- Behaviour - Behavioural Safety Audit
- Contractor - Notification of Project
- Environment - Aspect Impact
- Environment - Environmental Assessment
- Incident - Incident Record
- Incident - Vehicle Incident
- People - Person Register
- Risk - Hazard Spotting
- Risk - Project Risk
When creating a new Project Details Record or Editing an existing record you have the option to link module records directly.
Expand the Module Section you wish to link records from. (Example below shows the Vehicle Incident section)
Click the Add icon. 
This will open up a Pop Up Page, you will see the following columns:
- Reference
- Date Of Incident
- Vehicle Registration Number
- Org Unit
Tick the Select checkbox on the Records you wish to link, and click the Select button to confirm.
The Linked records will show as follows:
