Setting Quick Reports to be Private
Any user who has previously used Quick Reports will know that if many others were also creating these, the list of Quick Reports that displayed could get quite long, which meant a lot of scrolling.
Now when you create a Quick Report, you have the option to set it as private, so only you will be able to see it.
If you are creating a Quick Report that is designed to be used by other users, it is still possible to keep these as Public, however this will increase the size of the drop down list displayed and we advise that most Quick Reports are set to Private to avoid duplication and confusion.
The “Is Private” check box can be seen when creating or editing a Quick Report.
