This article explains how to enable and run Standard System Reports with attached images in Assure. The configuration is performed in Module Setup (the per-module configuration area within Assure Settings) by an Admin user. Only certain Standard Reports support image output; these are identified by the Show Images on Cog Report column within Module Setup. Once enabled, images can be included when running a report across multiple records via the Reports button, or on a single record via the Cog Wheel Menu (a dropdown menu attached to each record row). When using the Cog Wheel Menu, the report outputs in the default format configured in Module Setup.
Prerequisites
Requirement
---
An active Assure user account with access to the relevant Module (a functional component of Assure designed to manage a specific area of health, safety, and risk processes).
Admin access to Settings > System Configuration > Module Setup to enable the Show Images configuration.
The Report permission must be enabled in the user's Role Permissions (a set of access rights defining what actions a user can perform within specified Modules and Organisational Units) to run reports.
Overview
Some Standard System Reports in Assure can be printed with any attached images they have. Not all Standard Reports support this capability. Reports that do support image output are identified in the Module Setup configuration screen.
This article covers two tasks:
- Enabling images for supported Standard Reports via Module Setup.
- Running the report with images, either across multiple records or for a single record.
Part 1: Enable Images for a Standard Report
Step 1: Navigate to Module Setup
Navigate to:
Settings > System Configuration > Module Setup
Step 2: Open the Reports Configuration for the Relevant Module
On the Module Setup page, locate the relevant Module and on the Cog Wheel Menu select Reports.
Step 3: Identify Reports That Support Images
In the Reports page, Assure presents a list of the available reports for the specific Module.
Only certain reports can be run with images. These are highlighted in the Show Images on Cog Report column.
To have images display for the reports that allow this, tick the checkbox in the Show Images on Cog Report column for the relevant report, then select Save & Close.
Part 2: Run a Report with Images
Option A: Multiple Records
Use this option when running a report across more than one record.
Navigate to the Module on which images have been enabled. Select the Reports button to run the report on multiple records. Under Standard Reports, use the picklist to select the relevant report, enable the Show Images checkbox, then select the output type: Excel, PDF, or Word in the Queue report to download as drop-down menu.
Option B: Single Record
Use this option when running a report on one individual record.
Locate the record in the module list view. On the Three Dots Icon Menu for that record, select Reports, then select the required report from the available options.
Note: When using the Three dots icon Menu option on an individual record, the report is displayed in the default format that has been configured in Module Setup.
