Navigate to Settings > Organisational Configuration > Users.
It is very simple to create a new user in the system. A user has a profile with a few details; it does not hold any permissions in the user profile.
To create new users go to Settings > Organisational Configuration > Users.
In the following screen click New Record to create a new system user or AssureGO+ user.
To update, copy or delete an existing user account, please select the Cog > Edit.
Please complete the details section about the new user you are looking to add or edit.
You can select between two User Access Types depending on which system they should access.
AssFor ‘AssureGO+ only’ users only the following information is needed:
- Username
- Default Unit (Organisation Id)
- Full Name
- Password - This is not a mandatory requirement to set up a user and can be set at anytime by an administrator manually, however we recommend using the Send “Create Password” Link which will send the user an email with a link to set their password themselves. The link is valid for 48 hours or until they set their password. You can reissue the email if required.
The Access type can only be edited manually for a user.
For ‘Assure and AssureGO+’ users you also need to allocate permissions:
Within the following section Permissions, a user can be allocated a Supervisor Privilege. To see what the supervisor privilege allows the user to do across the system, please navigate to Settings > Organisational Configuration > Supervisor Privilege > Cog > Details.
Please note: users do not need a Supervisor Privilege to access the modules within the system.
To add a role to the user, please select the +add button.
In the following pop-out, please select the role the user should have and the org unit this role is active in:
To see what the role allows the user to do across the system, please navigate to Settings > Organisational Configuration > Role > Cog > Details.
If you are using the People User Linking feature you will have the option to select which Person Register record the user license belongs to. For more information on this feature please see this article.
