It is possible to setup reminder emails for users to notify them of pending or overdue tasks they have on your assure system.
Please Note the following:
- Admin Users may be the only users with access to your System Settings in your site, so please confirm with them if you wish this to be implemented.
- The Reminder emails are generated and sent out as part of our overnight process.
- Overdue reminders will trigger daily until the task has been completed, deleted or the Reminder setting has been disabled.
- User Defaults are setup within your Org Units. Please read the following article for more information: Setting Org Unit Defaults and Module Specific Defaults in Assure
- If enabling the Managers within the People to be Notified you will have to ensure you have configured the Manager setup within your Assure user profiles.
Navigate to System Settings
Scroll down to the section named Reminders
Type of Email:
Summary Email: Notified users will receive one overall reminder email summarising the different pending/overdue tasks they have upcoming/outstanding.
Individual Emails: Notified users will receive individual reminder emails for each pending/overdue task they have upcoming/outstanding.
Pending Action Reminders: If enabled this can notify specific users when a action is a set number of days close to its due date. The users who can be notified are:
- Who The Action Is For
- Who The Action Is By
- The Manager Of Who The Action Is For
Overdue Action Reminders: If enabled this can notify specific users when a action is a set number of days past its due date. The users who can be notified are:
- Who The Action Is For
- Who The Action Is By
- The Manager Of Who The Action Is For
Pending Review Reminders: If enabled this can notify specific users when a review is a set number of days close to its due date and can also be enabled to include reviews set against archived records. The users who can be notified are:
- The Reviewer of the Record
- The Manager of the Reviewer of the Record
Overdue Review Reminders: If enabled this can notify specific users when a review is a set number of days past its due date and can also be enabled to include reviews set against archived records. The users who can be notified are:
- The Reviewer of the Record
- The Manager of the Reviewer of the Record
Portal Submission Reminders: If enabled this can notify specific users when a portal submission has been sitting in the Portal queue, unprocessed, for a set number of days. The users who can be notified are:
- Default Portal Notification Recipient
- The Manager Of Default Portal Notification Recipient
Pending Submission Reminders: If enabled this can notify specific users when a record submission is a set number of days close to its due date. The users who can be notified are:
- The Assigned of the Record
- The Manager of the Assigned of the Record
Overdue Submission Reminders: If enabled this can notify specific users when a record submission is a set number of days past its due date. The users who can be notified are:
- The Assigned of the Record
- The Manager of the Assigned of the Record
