This article explains how to upload and manage custom company logos and branding images in Assure. Administrators can configure up to four logo image types globally via Settings > System Configuration > System Settings > Image Upload. If no custom images are uploaded, Assure displays its default images. The banner image appears on the Assure Home Screen and the AssureGO+ Home Screen. Per-Organisational Unit logo overrides can also be configured for the banner and report images within the Org Unit (Organisational Unit) configuration. This article applies to the Assure main system and has cross-module implications for AssureGO+.

Use Your Own Logo In Assure
Overview
Assure supports uploading custom images for four logo types to align the platform with your organisation's branding. All four image types are managed globally from a single location:
Settings > System Configuration > System Settings > Image Upload
If any logo image is not updated, Assure displays the default image for that position.
Note: The Manage System Settings Supervisor Privilege is required to access Image Upload settings. Contact your Assure Administrator if the option is not visible.
The Four Configurable Logo Types
Login Screen
- Appears on the Assure login page
- Required format: PNG
- Recommended size: 180 x 135 px
Banner
- Appears on the Assure Home Screen and the AssureGO+ Home Screen
- Required format: PNG
- Recommended size: 500 x 135 px
Report
- Appears on printed and generated module reports
- Recommended format: Bitmap
- Recommended size: 75 x 75 px
Email Header
- Appears on system-generated email notifications
- Required format: PNG
- Recommended size: 180 x 135 px
Note: Image size recommendations are also displayed within Assure as you upload each image. Always refer to the in-system guidance as the definitive reference at the time of upload.
Uploading a Global Logo
- Navigate to Settings > System Configuration > System Settings.
- Select Image Upload.
- Locate the relevant logo type (Login Screen, Banner, Report, or Email Header).
- Upload an image that meets the format and size requirements listed above.
- Save the settings.
The updated image takes effect immediately across all applicable areas of Assure.
Format Requirements
- Login Screen, Banner, and Email Header images must use PNG format.
- Report images should use bitmap format.
Org Unit-Specific Logo Overrides
In addition to the global logos, logos for specific Organisational Units (the units that make up your organisation's hierarchy within Assure) can be configured at the Org Unit level. This override applies to:
- Banner image
- Report image
Org Unit-specific logo overrides are configured within the Org Unit configuration settings, not within System Settings. The same size recommendations that apply to global logos apply to Org Unit-specific logos.
Step 1: Navigate to Settings
Step 2: Click Organisational Units, under the Organisational Configuration section.
Step 3: Find the desired Org Unit and click the Cogwheel Icon. This action opens a drop down menu. Click Edit.
Step 4: Open the Branding area
Step 5: This opens a similar menu to the Image Upload area covered previously. Here you can upload and configure the branding images on an organisational level.
Notes and Warnings
- The banner image is displayed on both the Assure Home Screen and the AssureGO+ Home Screen. Changes to the global banner image affect both platforms.
- If a user's Masked Org Unit (an Org Unit assigned to a user to restrict their visible org structure) has a logo configured, that logo will display within AssureGO+.
- Global logo changes affect all users across all Organisational Units unless an Org Unit-specific override is in place.
