Prerequisites

- The Equipment Maintenance module is enabled and configured in your Assure instance.
- The user performing configuration has the Manage IQ Templates Supervisor Privilege (the permission that allows a user to create, edit, and configure iQ Templates in Assure) set to Allow.
- The user publishing the iQ Template has the Publish IQ Templates Supervisor Privilege set to Allow.
- The Manage Portal Supervisor Privilege is set to Allow for any user who needs to configure AssureGO+ Questionnaires linked to the Equipment Maintenance module.
- At least one iQ Template has been created and is in a published state. Unpublished (draft) templates will not be available for selection within the module or within AssureGO+ Questionnaires.

Why Use iQ Templates with Equipment Maintenance?
One or multiple iQ Templates (also referred to as question sets or Intelligent Questionnaires) can be created and linked to the Equipment Maintenance module. This allows administrators to add specific question sets for different pieces of equipment - for example:
- Ladder inspections
- Forklift inspections
- Lift inspections
When a maintenance check is recorded, the relevant inspection details are documented together with the standard maintenance information, rather than being recorded separately.
Configuration
Linking an iQ Template to the Equipment Maintenance Module
When creating an iQ Template, the template designer can link it to the Equipment Maintenance module. Multiple question sets can be linked to the module simultaneously. Once a question set is published, it becomes available for use within the module.

Creating an Equipment Maintenance Record in Assure
The user experience when creating a new Equipment Maintenance record depends on how many iQ Templates have been linked to the module. There are three possible scenarios:

Creating a Questionnaire in AssureGO+
When the Equipment Maintenance module is configured for use via AssureGO+ (the Evotix mobile progressive web application used by frontline and field workers to submit forms), the following applies:
- Multiple iQ Templates available: Users can select from multiple iQ Templates for Equipment Maintenance, in the same way as the Audit module.
- Separate questionnaires per equipment type: Separate questionnaires can be configured for each piece of equipment. This follows the same setup process as the current AssureGO+ Questionnaire configuration.
User Submission Through AssureGO+
When a user submits a maintenance record through AssureGO+, the user selects the questionnaire most relevant to the maintenance task being completed. The iQ Template selected at questionnaire setup is included as part of the submission.
