On AssureGO+ users have the ability to annotate any photo that they have uploaded to highlight an area of concern, add some brief text or disguise/cover any irrelevant or confidential information.
Example user case scenarios:
- When reporting a hazard or other safety event the user can highlight the concern on the image rather than writing a long description
- When adding an image which includes irrelevant or confidential information this can be disguised easily
How can the users annotate pictures?
- Add free drawing (the user can change the line colour and width)
- Add text
- Draw an arrow to point
- Add shapes as outline or filled
Limitations of the Annotation feature:
- Ability to annotate JPG and PNG format only.
- Available on most modern devices and browsers. Not supported on Internet Explorer and iOS Safari 12 or less.
- Once annotations are saved they cannot be undone.
- Annotation to images can only be done in AssureGO+, not in Assure.
How to enable this functionality?
- When adding the ability to add attachments to any form in AssureGO+ this functionality will be automatically available
