Reference Maintenance

In Assure, you can choose to allow users to use the Auto Reference feature.
This is where instead of the user manually entering a reference, the system will automatically enter a reference based on the last reference in the system.
For each module in the system, you can set the current reference to a value of your choice. So that the next time the user uses the Auto Ref feature, the reference will be set based on the reference you set up.
Go to Settings > System Configuration > Reference Maintenance
Click the ‘New Record’ button to set up a new reference. Click the menu cog to edit or delete a reference in the list.
Once this has been configured, it will apply to newly created records on your Assure system for the module that was selected.
