This article explains how to configure the Homepage Welcome Message in Assure. The Homepage Welcome Message is a system-wide notification panel displayed on the Assure Homepage (the main landing screen after login) that is visible to all users of the system. It supports up to 9,999 characters and can be used to broadcast updates, urgent notices, or reminders. The message is configured via Settings > System Settings and requires the Manage System Settings Supervisor Privilege (a high-level permission that grants access to system-wide configuration settings).
This feature is distinct from the targeted Messages feature (configured under Settings > System Configuration > Messages), which sends login-time notifications to specific users, Organisational Units, or Notification Groups.
Overview
The Homepage Welcome Message is a dedicated area on the Assure Homepage that allows administrators to display a broadcast message to every user in the system. The message appears directly on the Homepage and is visible to all users regardless of their role or Organisational Unit.

How to Configure the Homepage Welcome Message
Select Settings from the main navigation menu.
Navigate to System Settings.
Locate the Homepage Welcome Message field within System Settings.
Ensure that Show Welcome Message on Start Page is enabled and then enter or update the message content (up to 9,999 characters).
| Note: The Homepage Welcome Message is visible to all users of the system. There is no option to target the message to specific users, Organisational Units, or Notification Groups from this setting. |
Click Save to apply the changes.
Once saved, the updated message displays immediately on the Assure Homepage for all users.
