The Review Manager (a centralised area in Assure that aggregates all record reviews assigned to a user into a single view) allows users to manage their record review tasks from one location. Users with the View Tasks for Other People Role Permission will also see reviews created for other people. From the Review Manager, a user can:
Edit a record review
Complete a record review
Go to the record associated with the record review
Run a filter on the record reviews.
The Review Manager also includes colour coding based on the status of reviews. Default colours are set for Completed, Pending, and Overdue reviews. These colours can be amended in Settings > System Settings under Review Colour Coding.
Prerequisites
- An active Assure user account with at least one review assigned.
- The View Tasks for Other People Role Permission to see reviews assigned to other users.
- The Override Review Role Permission to edit a review's reviewer or due date.
- The Delete Review Role Permission to delete a review from the Review Manager.
Accessing the Review Manager
The Review Manager is accessed via the Tasks menu in the left-hand navigation panel of Assure.
What You Can Do in the Review Manager
Edit a Record Review
Selecting Edit on a review allows the user to update details of the review. Users with the Override Review Role Permission can change the Review By (the assigned reviewer) and the Review Due Date.
Complete a Record Review
Selecting Complete on a review marks the review task as finished. This records the completion against the associated module record.
Go to the Associated Record
Selecting Go to Record navigates directly to the module record (for example, an Incident Record or Risk Assessment) that the review is linked to, allowing the user to view the full record details.
Filter Record Reviews
Users can run a filter on record reviews within the Review Manager to narrow the displayed list by criteria such as status, due date, module, or Organisational Unit.
Delete a Review
Users with the Delete Review Role Permission can delete a review directly from the Review Manager or from within a module record.
Colour Coding
The Review Manager includes colour coding based on the status of reviews. Default colours are set for Completed, Pending, and Overdue reviews. These colours can be amended. Colour coding is configured in Settings > System Settings.
| Status | Default Colour | Description |
| Pending | System default | Review is due in the future and not yet completed. |
| Overdue | System default | Review due date has passed and the review has not been completed. |
| Completed | System default | Review has been marked as complete. |
Note: If colour coding in the Review Manager does not match expectations, check whether customisations have been applied in System Settings.
