HOW TO CREATE AN ACTION
In the main management system Assure, to create an action against a record, go to the desired module. Click on the actions icon which is placed on every record.
Or go to the actions page, click the New Record button to create a new action.
On the next page, enter the following details:
- Action Title
- Category
- Action Subcategory (if enabled)
- Action Description
- Who the action is for
- The action due date
- The action priority rating
- Any comments about the action
An action notification email will be sent to the user that the action is for to alert them.
HOW TO CREATE ACTIONS ON ASSUREGO+
Actions can also be created on AssureGO+ as part of completing and submitting a form, if this has been enabled.
Or if the user is signed in and has the permission to create free-standing actions, they can create an action on the My Task tab on AssureGO+
.
HOW TO EDIT AN ACTION
To edit an action select ‘Edit; on the drop down next to an action in the Action Manager or the three-dot-ellipse when in the record view on in ‘My Tasks’ on AssureGO+
HOW TO ADD COMMENTS TO AN ACTION
When creating or editing an action on Assure or AssureGO+, you can add any details in the ‘New Comment’ field.
On saving the action, the comment will show in the ‘Last Comment’ field.
If there is at least one comment added to an action you will be able to ‘View All Comments’
On Selecting ‘View All Comments’, a comment history will open displaying all comments for the action including comment creator, action status at the time, date/time and if it has been edited/deleted.
A user can edit their own comment.
If 'Delete Action' role permission is set to allow, a user can delete an action comment.
The ‘New Comment’ action field can be made mandatory for users to enter a comment either always or on action completion. You can enable this in caption maintenance for actions, see image below.
