This article explains why a user may receive an error message when attempting to access a Module (a functional component of Assure designed to manage a specific area of health, safety, and risk processes) in Assure. The two most common causes are insufficient account permissions and an incorrect Organisational Unit (Org Unit -- the specific area of the business the user is currently viewing within Assure) being selected. The article applies to all Assure users across all modules.
Assure will only allow a user to carry out tasks in a specific area if the user has the relevant account permissions.
Note: This error is not caused by a system fault. It is always related to either the selected Org Unit or the user's account permissions.
If an error message is displayed when attempting to access a Module, one or both of the following conditions may apply:
The user's account does not have permission to access the Module.
The user is viewing the wrong Organisational Unit (Org Unit).
Check Your Current Org Unit
If the user was previously able to access the Module and has now started receiving an error, the first step is to check the current Org Unit displayed at the top of the page.
The Org Unit indicator shows which area of the business the user is currently viewing. Assure will only allow the user to carry out tasks in that area if they have the relevant account permissions for the selected Org Unit.
Confirm the correct Org Unit is selected. Change the Org Unit if necessary and attempt to access the Module again.
Contact Your Internal Assure Administrator
If the user feels they are in the correct Org Unit and is still receiving errors, they should contact their internal Assure Administrator and ask them to verify their permissions.
The Assure Administrator's contact details can be found by navigating to Help > Contact Support at the top of the page.
Note: Only the internal Assure Administrator can grant or modify module permissions for user accounts. Evotix Support cannot alter user permissions on behalf of a customer.
