Categorizing resources
Resources can be assigned categories on the back end to classify them into certain topics, which it then appears under in the front end. The categories are shown when the user clicks the Resources section in the left hand menu, as in the image at the top of the page.
The categories are found on the right side of the admin page for each resource:
Checking the checkbox of a specific category will make the resource appear in that category's section on the front end. The resource can be added to multiple categories if more than one apply, and it will then appear in each category in the front end.
Creating new categories
When creating a new category, it is recommended to do so through the Resource Categories admin page so that you can also include a description of the category:
Once the category has been added, click it in the list to the right of the page to be able to add the description. When creating a category it is useful to add a description that provides more information on the category in the front end:

If the platform is being used in multiple languages, the category can be translated using the language dropdown in the same way as pathways, levels, and missions. In this page, the translation dropdown is in the top right corner of the page:
