The Star Rating uses six fixed bands, ranging from no star (0--15%) to five stars (80% and above). This article explains each band and the score required to achieve it. The Star Rating is specific to the Audit module in Evotix Assure and does not apply to other iQ Template-enabled modules such as Risk Assessments or Inspections.
Overview
On Audit iQ Templates (Intelligent Questionnaire Templates -- configurable question sets used to capture structured audit data within Assure) within the Conclusion section of a record, a Star Rating is displayed. Each Audit record is assigned a Star Rating based on the overall percentage score of the Audit.For the Audit module specifically, scoring is fixed to a Numerical Sum method. The resulting percentage score maps to one of six Star Rating bands, as defined in the table below.

How the Audit Score Is Calculated
The Star Rating is driven by the overall iQ Template score. All iQ scoring is expressed as percentages and rolls up through three levels: question, section, and template.For the Audit module, scoring is fixed to a Numerical Sum approach.

Where the Star Rating Appears
The Star Rating appears within the Conclusion section of an Audit iQ Template record. Users completing or reviewing an Audit can view the Star Rating directly on the record without navigating elsewhere.

- The Star Rating thresholds (0--15%, 16--31%, 32--47%, 48--63%, 64--79%, 80%+) are fixed and cannot be customised.
- The Star Rating is specific to the Audit module. Other iQ Template-enabled modules (such as Risk Assessments and Inspections) do not use this Star Rating system.
- iQ Templates are used across multiple Assure modules including Procedural Audit, General Risk Assessment, Activity Risk Assessment, Behavioural Observation, and Hazard Spotting. The scoring configuration applies identically across all of these modules, but the Star Rating feature within the Conclusion section is exclusive to Audit records.
