What is Evotix Learn?
Learn is Evotix’s mobile health and safety training solution. Learn allows you to reach all your frontline workers with the right training and resources, exactly when they need it. With Learn, easily deliver short video-based training, as well as other formats. Compliance training can be enriched with relevant, in-the-flow scenario learning.
Training courses delivered through Learn can be assigned and reported on via the Assure People & Training module. This allows you to get a quick overview of your organisations training status at any time.
How does it work?
Assure and Learn are integrated via a live API link . This functionality has to be enabled by an Evotix System Administrator.
For the integration to work and training to be assigned correctly in Learn, Employees need to have a user account in Learn with the same email address as their record on the people register (in Assure).
After enabling the integration:
- It will be mandatory to have a unique email address against each record in the people register.
Note: checks, and warnings, are displayed when setting the integration up or when adding records at a later stage - An email address will become mandatory in any data import to the people register.
- A warning will be provided that will to identify users with duplicate or missing email addresses
This will be checked during the initial set up.
As a default the option to assign Evotix Learn training courses in Assure will be turned off.
Assigning Evotix Learn training in Assure People & Training module

1. Create training content in Learn
Training courses need to be created as Missions in Evotix Learn first before they can be linked to a course in Assure, assigned to an employee and reported on.
In Evotix Learn training is organized by Levels, Pathways, Levels, Missions and Stages.
A Mission includes training content on one defined topic, i.e. Manual Handling or Slips, Trips & Falls. It is usually set up as multiple stages and quizzes to make training bite-sized and engaging. A mission can be assigned to a training course and training needs analysis in Assure.
2. Set up your people register
If not done yet or if you have a new starter, please set up the relevant employee accounts in Learn and in the people register in Assure with matching email address.
3. Create your courses in Assure
- Within People Module > Course
Create a new course, or amend an existing course to reference an Evotix Learn Mission - Select “Use Evotix Learn” checkbox

- Use the selector to select the Evotix Learn Course
- The list of available courses will be populated based on your Mission set up on Learn
- Select the Learn Mission that you want to link to this course

- Complete the remainder of the course record and save
- You may want to add Learn as the content provider esp if you are managing both eLearning and classroom training records

4. Notify your people about their training
When initially setting up your training requirements you also want to set up email notifications that will be sent to those people that have training assigned to them. If you create a new training course and have notifications already set up, then you don’t need to create them again.
From within Assure you can notify your people. For example:
- You have been assigned a new training in Learn
- Your training is due in the next x days/months
- Your training is now overdue by x days/months
You can include a link to the relevant Mission in Learn when creating your email template. You can select the field when create your Email Template and then link that Template when you build your notification.

5. Assign your courses to your employees
There are two options how you can assign a course to your people.
a) Assigning a training record directly to your people
b) Set up a TNA template

The first option of assigning a course is by creating a new training record and linking your employees to this training record

6. Complete training in Evotix Learn
Once you link an employee to the TNA template, or training record, the mission (course) will automatically be assigned to them in Learn.
The user can log in and complete training immediately.
There are currently no notifications sent to users from the Evotix Learn Platforms. In Assure manager can receive escalations and reminders of overdue training of their people

7. Report and view progress in Assure
When the training is complete in Evotix Learn, the Training Record for this Person will be updated as “Completed” as the user completes the Learn Missions. This is a live link and records will be available immediately.
