This article provides an overview of Evotix Learn (the Evotix training content delivery platform). It explains how users access the platform, the two types of training content available (Assigned Learning and Resources), the learner experience including progress tracking and bookmarking, content creation options (custom-built and pre-built from accredited providers), gamification via the Leaderboard, and analytics and reporting capabilities. Learn is designed to support employee compliance training and development and is typically used alongside other Evotix platforms such as Assure or Evotix 360.
Cross-module scope: When integrated with Assure, training assignment, due date management, and compliance tracking are handled in the Assure People and Training module. Learn handles content delivery. Analytics data from Learn can also be exported for use in Power BI.

What is Evotix Learn?
Evotix Learn is the Evotix training content delivery platform. The primary purpose of Learn is to deliver training to employees and communicate key health and safety information across an organisation.
Learn provides two specific types of training content:
- Assigned Learning -- training linked to a specific user with a defined timeframe for completion, allowing progress to be tracked.
- Resources -- an open-access reference library of materials that users can view at any time, without a completion requirement.
Accessing Evotix Learn
Users can access Learn in the following ways:
- Via web browser on a desktop or mobile device by navigating to the organisation's Learn URL and signing in.
- Via the Evotix Learn app, which can be downloaded from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). When downloading the app, users must install version 2 of the Evotix Learn app.
Assigned Learning
Assigned Learning is training linked to a specific user with a set timeframe for completion. This allows administrators to track progress and ensure training is completed within the required period.
Once a Mission (a single training topic made up of individual Stages) is assigned to a user, the user can see the following upon logging in:
- The current Mission or training assignment.
- A progress bar showing completion status, which updates as each Stage is completed.
- The time remaining for completion.
- Any overdue training items, which the system flags automatically.
Users can access all assigned training from the Learning section on the homepage. The Learning section displays a structured list of training items relevant to the user's role.
Resources
Resources function as a reference library rather than assigned training. Unlike Assigned Learning, Resources are not tied to a timeframe or a completion requirement. Users can access Resources at any time to view key materials such as:
- Toolbox talks
- Instructional videos
- Policy documents
- Health and safety guidance
Resources are published by the employer and organised by topic. Users can also browse Resources related to their specific health and safety interests.
Bookmarking
In addition to Assigned Learning and Resources, users can bookmark specific courses or content items for easy reference in the future. Bookmarks allow users to return to training materials quickly without having to search for them again.
Content Creation
Learn provides administrators with two options for sourcing training content.
Building Your Own Content
Administrators can create custom training content within Learn. A course can include a mix of the following content types:
- Videos
- PDFs
- SCORM files (pre-packaged e-learning content in the industry-standard SCORM format)
- Interactive content such as Quizzes
Evotix recommends including a quiz or assessment at the end of a course. Administrators can define a pass mark on quiz Stages to gauge user understanding.
Pre-Built Content from Accredited Providers
Alternatively, Learn provides access to a library of pre-built training content from accredited content providers. The providers available are:
- iAM
- iHASCO
- Marcom
Courses from these providers are recognised by professional health and safety bodies, including IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health). The content library is continually updated to align with the latest industry standards and regulations.
Gamification and Engagement
Learn includes gamification features to encourage learner participation and engagement:
- Users earn points each time they complete a Stage for the first time.
- Accumulated points contribute to the Leaderboard (a ranking of users by points earned), encouraging friendly competition across the organisation.
Note: Leaderboard visibility can be enabled or disabled by a Learn Administrator. Individual users can also be excluded from participating in or viewing the Leaderboard.
Analytics and Reporting
Tracking user progress is a core function of Learn. Where Learn is integrated with other Evotix platforms (such as Assure or Evotix 360), analytics tools allow administrators to:
- Monitor which users have completed training.
- Identify users who are overdue on assigned training.
For organisations that prefer to use Power BI for reporting, Learn supports the export of training data. This allows organisations to create custom performance metrics and dashboards in a familiar reporting format.
